General Description
The APW7075 is a PWM/PFM, high-efficiency, and stepup DC-DC converter with an integrated LDO input switch for dual mode application.During battery mode operation, the APW7075 acts as synchronous rectifier and step-up DC-DC converter with a fixed or adjustable output voltage.When the VIN pin sense 5V input voltage, the APW7075 is switched to LDO operation mode, maintaining the constant output voltage. The input voltage ranges from 0.6 V to 4.5V for step-up DC-DC converter. The start-up is guaranteed at 1V and the device operates down to 0.6V.When the device is at LDO operating mode, the suitable output voltage 3.3V and loading current 500mA for maximum power consumption are guaranteed. The APW7075 is suited for dual mode and portable battery powered appliance with low-battery detector.In dualmode applications, the APW7075 draws power from any available 5V USB connection and reverts to battery power when the USB power is removed.

General Description
The APW7078 is a single PWM, step-up DC-DC controller with low operating voltage application integrating softstart and short circuit detection function. The oscillator switching frequency on chip can be operated by terminating OSC pin to connect capacitor and resistor for adjustable operating frequency. Soft-start is adjusted with the external capacitor, which sets the input current ramp. Besides, the external compensation FB pin will apply the flexibility in the dynamic loop status, which allows using small and low equivalent series resistance (ESR) ceramic output capacitors.

General Description
The APW7251 contains a PWM Boost converter, a 1.8V linear regulator and a 3.3V linear regulator. The PWM boost converter is a high frequency step-up DC/DC converter. Its output voltage is set by an internal feedback divider at 13.5V and 12.3V. The regulator is a P-channel low dropout linear regulator with POK which needs only one input voltage from 3 to 5. 5V, and delivers current up to 10mA to set output voltage. Typical dropout voltage is 450mV at 150mA loading for 1. 8V output, and 100mV at 150mA loading for 3.3V output. The APW7251 has power-on-reset and soft start functions to prevent wrong operation and limit the surge current during power-on or start-up. It also has thermal shutdown function to protect the device against overtemperature.

General Description
The APW7272 is a asynchronous rectifier, fixed switching frequency (600kHz or 1.2MHz typical), and current-mode step-up regulator. The device allows use of small inductors and output capacitors. The current-mode control scheme provides fast transient response and good output voltage accuracy. At light loads, the APW7272 will automatically enter in Pulse Skip Mode (PSM) operation to reduce the dominant switching losses. During PSM operation, the IC consumes very low quiescent current and maintains high efficiency over the complete load range. The APW7272 also includes current-limit and over-temperature shutdown to prevent damage in the event of an output overload. The APW7272 is available in 3mmx3mm TDFN3x3-10 package.

The devices has built in Nch boost MOSFET as well as a Pch synchronous MOSFET acting as diode in the IC which eliminates an external Schotcky diode that is otherwise needed for typical boost converters. This also allows for true shut down of the converter when device is disabled. Other features of the part; includes VID pin that allows smooth transition between 12V and 15V/15.5V output, input and output under voltage lock out, current limit and over temperature protection.
