General Description
The APL3528 is an ultra-low on-resistance, dual powerdistribution switch with external soft start control. It integrates two N-channel MOSFETs that can deliver 6A continuous load current each. The device integrates over-temperature protection. The over temperature protection function shuts down the Nchannel MOSFET power switch when the junction temperature rises beyond 160^oC and will automatically turns on the power switch when the temperature drops by 40^oC. General Description

General Description
The APL3228 overvoltage protection devices feature a low 50mΩ (typ) RON internal FET and protect low-voltage systems against voltage faults up to +28VDC. An internal clamp also protects the devices from surges up to +100V. When the input voltage exceeds the overvoltage threshold, the internal FET is turned off to prevent damage to the protected downstream components. The overvoltage protection threshold can be adjusted with optional external resistors to any voltage between 4V and 20V. With the OVLO input set below the external OVLO select voltage, the APL3228 automatically choose the accurate internal trip thresholds. The internal overvoltage thresholds (OVLO) are preset to 6.8V. The devices feature an open-drain (ACOK)' output indicating a stable supply between minimum supply voltage and V_OVLO. The APL3228 are also protected against over current events by an internal thermal shutdown.

General Description
APL3548 is a high-side power distribution switch, allow for +12V, +19V or +9.5V power-supply rail. The wrong input voltage protection function protects a wrong input of adapter insertion, when input voltage is out of the target input voltage range the IC is off. The APL3548 provides a short-circuit protection during power-up. When a short circuit is present before soft start, the IC will limit the output current at 300mA during dead short condition (V_OUT<1V) unless the short circuit has been removed and the output voltage has risen above 1V. After power-up the OCP function prevents the IC from catastrophic failure from over-load and short circuit conditions. If an OC event is detected, the IC immediately shuts down the internal power switch and will initiate a new soft start cycle. The OCP tripping threshold is set by the external resistor on OCSET pin. Other features include an adjustable soft start time and a logic-controlled shutdown mode. The device is available in SOP-8P and TDFN3x3-10 Packages.

General Description
The APL3552 series of power switches integrate a 62mΩ N-channel MOSFET power switch, an enable input pin, a fault flag and some protection functions into a single package. The protection features include adjustable current limit, reverse current protection, and over temperature protection. APL3552 offer an adjustable current-limit threshold between 150mA and 2.8A (typ.) via an external resistor. The reverse current protection disable the power switch when the output voltage is driven higher than the input to protect devices on the input side of the switch. The OCB output asserts low during over current and reverse current conditions. The over-temperature protection limits the junction temperature below 140^oC in case of short circuit or over load conditions.

General Description
The APL3557 is a power-distribution switch with some protection functions that can deliver current up to 5A. The device incorporates a 12mΩ N-channel MOSFET power switch that is controlled by an enable logic pin and has a SS pin dedicated to soft start ramp-up rate control that can be used in application where the inrush current is concerned. The device integrates some protection features, including current limit protection, over temperature protection, and input over voltage protection. The current limit protection can protect down-stream devices from catastrophic failure by limiting the output current at current-limit threshold during over-load or short-circuit events. The over temperature protection function shuts down the N-channel MOSFET power switch when the junction temperature rises beyond 140°C. Other features include an accurate current monitor function. General Description
The APL6003 overvoltage protection devices feature a low 15mΩ (max) R_ON internal FET and protect low-voltage systems against voltage faults up to +25VDC. An internal clamp also protects the devices from surges up to +120V. When the input voltage exceeds the overvoltage threshold, the internal FET is turned off to prevent damage to the protected downstream components. The overvoltage protection threshold can be adjusted with optional external resistors to any voltage between 4V and 24V. With the OVLO input set below the external OVLO select voltage, the APL6003 automatically choose the accurate internal trip thresholds. The internal overvoltage thresholds (OVLO) are preset to 5.95V typical. The devices feature an open-drain (ACOK)' output indicating a stable supply between minimum supply voltage and VOVLO. The APL6003 are also protected against over current events by an internal thermal shutdown.
