General Description
The APL3228 overvoltage protection devices feature a low 50mΩ (typ) RON internal FET and protect low-voltage systems against voltage faults up to +28VDC. An internal clamp also protects the devices from surges up to +100V. When the input voltage exceeds the overvoltage threshold, the internal FET is turned off to prevent damage to the protected downstream components. The overvoltage protection threshold can be adjusted with optional external resistors to any voltage between 4V and 20V. With the OVLO input set below the external OVLO select voltage, the APL3228 automatically choose the accurate internal trip thresholds. The internal overvoltage thresholds (OVLO) are preset to 6.8V. The devices feature an open-drain (ACOK)' output indicating a stable supply between minimum supply voltage and VOVLO. The APL3228 are also protected against over current events by an internal thermal shutdown.

General Description
The APL3556EF series of power switches integrate a 50mΩ N-channel MOSFET power switch, an enable input pin, a fault flag and some protection functions into a single package. The protection features include adjustable/fix current limit, reverse current protection, and over temperature protection. APL3556EF offer an adjustable current-limit threshold between 3.6A (typ.) via an external resistor. The reverse current protection disable the power switch when the output voltage is driven higher than the input to protect devices on the input side of the switch. The FAULT output asserts low during over current and reverse current conditions. The over-temperature protection limits the junction temperature below 150oC in case of short circuit or over load conditions.

General Description
The APL6003 overvoltage protection devices feature a low 15mΩ (max) RON internal FET and protect low-voltage systems against voltage faults up to +25VDC. An internal clamp also protects the devices from surges up to +120V. When the input voltage exceeds the overvoltage threshold, the internal FET is turned off to prevent damage to the protected downstream components. The overvoltage protection threshold can be adjusted with optional external resistors to any voltage between 4V and 24V. With the OVLO input set below the external OVLO select voltage, the APL6003 automatically choose the accurate internal trip thresholds. The internal overvoltage thresholds (OVLO) are preset to 5.95V typical. The devices feature an open-drain (ACOK)' output indicating a stable supply between minimum supply voltage and VOVLO. The APL6003 are also protected against over current events by an internal thermal shutdown.
