General Description
APM3602 is a 2A synchronous buck converter with integrated inductor. The APM3602 with a current-mode control scheme can convert wide input voltage of 2.9V to 5.5V to provide excellent output voltage regulation. The APM3602 is equipped with an automatic Skip/PWM mode operation. At light load, the IC operates in the Skip mode to reduce the switching losses. At heavy load, the IC works in PWM mode. The APM3602 is also equipped with Power-on-reset, soft start, Output Discharge, and whole protections (under-voltage, over-voltage, over-temperature and current-limit) into a single package. This device, available in LGA-10 package, provides a very compact system solution to minimize external components and PCB area.
